Blog Revamp

After weeks of trying to fix our current sort-of existing WordPress blog, I'm finally throwing in the proverbial towel. It barely works, and quite frankly I'm tired of trying to track down and fix PHP code.

So here's a brand new blog using Ghost, a new and modern blogging platform. I still have a lot of work ahead of me to get this looking how I like. And then I have to import all our old blog posts, if I can wrangle them out of the database manually. Because, as I said, WordPress only sort-of works. Until I finish, there's bound to be broken links all over the place, and random old articles showing up.

I couldn't figure out a clean way to import the Wordpress posts, so I'm manually going through and re-creating them here. But I'm skipping some in the interest of speed (and in removing old cruft) – including all the book reviews I had posted (which should all be linked from my GoodReads profile) and notifications of sales that ended years ago.
